how the bloody hell do i get this working on my own site

yeah, i suck at some of this - not that it's hard, more that i find myself easily distracted by the sound of feet thundering from above, and before i know it, it's time for Isabella's secret or some counting game or yay even more poo.

all excuses aside, i keep hearing that i need to be doing this and so it's probably true. we do, after all, have all the time in the world :)

so since i've been here we've found a new place to live, up on the hill with a view of the 4-lane and whispers of mt coot-tha. both kits have been set up and i've blown a few rolls threw the Mamiya. both cameras are out of batteries and the bloody cables have eluded me for weeks... might just be a good idea to get travel adapters for everything and get on with it :)

i'm working for Parsons Brinckerhoff (www.pbworld.com) and have helped develop a realtime engineering review tool using a game engine, but generally i work on providing communications solutions for major infrastructure projects. the machine at home is still the 8-core beast and there's another one lurking, waiting for the switch-on...

more, soon - gotta go find something worth talking about :P

Trip to Maleny!

We went for a drive up to the mountain in Maleny with Auntie Jen's family and friends. It was such a hot day we had to stop by a little lake for a swim and picnic! Then we headed to the Cheese Factory and Winery, ummmm....and came back home with lots of goodies!

Happy 2009!

Can't believe just how fast holidays go! We had a nice family time on Christmas day sitting in a 30 something degree backyard and eating cold ham, chicken, prawns and salad. Luna has once again been spoiled with lots of lovely presents and there will be more coming in two weeks when we are in China!
