Bao Mo Park Pt1

Ah, i'm using Picasa to blog this, so i guess i'll work within this 4-photo constraint until i work out how better to multipic...

ANYWAYS, this is a cute little tourist trap just outside of PanYu (again, hit me up for Google Earth Coordinates if you're keen to see the area from above) and aside from the gardens and outdoor installations the place is home to some of china's history dating back through the dynasties. The UBER PAINTINGS AND SCULPTURES weren't able to be photographed :( But the works were nothing short of fantastic, and some of the pieces that had been excavated included huge vases & plates, jade jewellery (they weren't too impressed about my jade cock-ring references about those bracelets), a couple of gold-and-jade-filled human effegies (sp?) that were buried with the emporer...

here's a little tidbit - talk about suckin' to be the emporer's wife! not only do you have to sit there while he screws 1000 other women, when he dies they bury you alive with him to keep him company on the journey!

anyways, due to a lack of blog-mastery this will all come out in reverse order :P
